Lot 2 - Tag 870
Cheech  x Impact (Young Jock x Moneymaker)
Wether

When we acquired half interest in the Arms Race son from the Franz’s last summer there was one ewe that we knew for sure would be bred to him.  The Young Jock daughter we purchased from Brian in Sedalia in 2012 was a logical choice and she didn’t disappoint.  We are starting the sale with this wether because he is the complete package.  Stout made, muscular and shapely, yet he is still laid in good at his shoulder and has a great body shape.  This is one that will feed well into the summer and be a great choice for State Fair or a competitive summer show.

Lot 4 - Tag 864
Enigma x ACCL 276 Hard Luck
Wether

Having AIed to Enigma for a couple of years now we know exactly which ewes he works on. 276 comes from our oldest ewe family and after a successful show career of her own she has been one of our top producers. Like all of the Enigmas, 864 is shallow chested, has great rib shape and is ultra-expressive in his rack shape. Combine that with the squareness of hip and muscle shape he possesses from behind this one is bound to have a show career to envy.

Lot 6 - Tag 868
Cheech x Shroyer 317 Kool Aid
Ewe

Because of limited numbers in the fall crop this year we are only able to offer one ewe lamb on this sale and we wanted to make sure she was a good one. 868 is a maternal sister to the lead wether from last year’s sale that was shown successfully by the Cabral family last year. Big down her top, cracked open underneath and nearly flawless in her body shape, we think this ewe lamb can have a fantastic show career, but with her pedigree her biggest success should come in the lambing barn.

Lot 8 - Tag 866
Cheech x ACCL 267 Endeavor
Wether

This wether has just started to hit the creep and is greener than some of the others, yet he is still one of the shapeliest, hardest handling lambs that we are offering. His structural correctness along with his raw muscle shape should make him one that will just get better with time. His mother has produced numerous competitive wethers for us including the Grand Champion at the 2012 Ventura County Fair.

Lot 10 Tag 871
Timber x ACCL 303 Monster
Wether

If you have followed the PBCL program for the last year, then you already know the success the first crop of Timber lambs created.  We cleaned up the fall AI group with Timber and our miss in the AI shed may have been a direct hit for you.  We are excited about the width of skeleton and muscle shape that this young wether has.  Being the youngest lamb in the set and out of a young Monster ewe raising twins, we expect this lamb to do nothing but get better as he continues to grow and bloom.
